Hi I'm Angie

I'm a full time mommy, part time event photographer and cosmetologist. I'm a proud wife of a Navy Corpsman.

About Me

I'm a full time mommy, part time Event Photographer and Hair Artist. I absolutely love what I do and the joy that I can bring to people. I'm a proud wife of a Navy Corpsman. My step dad and almost all of my siblings are service members (I have a lot of siblings). Although my jobs are in the "beauty" industry, I love to be outdoors! I scuba dive, rock climb, sail, play tennis, photograph for a paintball team (talk about adrenaline rush lol), love to go on picnics, swim, finger paint and fly kites, and of coarse spend time with my wonderful husband and my little man. I'm also a big lover of music! In high school, I was a band Booker and got to meet many fun and interesting people. I love to sing and I was also trained in classical piano and have been playing since I was 7!!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, my parents were Mormon so they raised me the same way but I definitely wanted to find my own way and unfortunately I found it by straying away first. After a couple of years of doing things I knew were wrong, I "came back" to the church and gained a testimony for myself of the love and forgiveness that our Savior has for us. I cleaned up my act, and realized that the things that have and will always truly make me happy are all teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Now that I'm married and have a child, I couldn't be more grateful and happier with my decision to follow the Savior, to have married a wonderful man that helps me be better every day and for the knowledge that I have that I can be with my family forever because I cant even imagine not being with them.

How I live my faith

Ever since I was 18 til up until recently, I worked with the youth of the church! I love being involved with them, telling them my stories, and because I'm still young, letting them know that I can relate. I've always been LDS but I've had a rebellious past and have learned so much because of it and I love sharing my past with people and especially the youth so that they can hopefully learn from it too as well as understand that it's okay if you've messed up in the past, because through the atonement, we can be forgiven and start clean no matter what.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Absolutely! We learn in the Bible that God is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever and that applies to prophets. In Amos 3:7 it says that God will do nothing without first revealing it to a Prophet ( for guidance, warning, etc.) and if God is always the same, then why wouldnt be have a living prophet today? God has always had prophets on the earth to guide us and help us get back to Him again. I Believe that just like Noah's people were saved though the Arc, and how Moses' people were led out of Egypt, if we choose to follow the prophet today, that we can live happier lives and have the peace that we need in these troubling times to make it though and return to live with Him again.
