Hi I'm Cheyenne

I'm from Idaho, I served a mission in Guatemala, I'm a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho in a large family. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in Guatemala. I speak Spanish. I met my husband Logan in 2008, five years ago in Mexico while living there to study Spanish. We were married July 2013. I am a college student studying to receive a bachelors degree in Recreation Management. I love the outdoors! I love playing sports with my husband and reading/discussing books together. He is my best friend!

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ really blossomed during my mission. I was able to dedicate every hour of every day to study, teach, and live all that Christ had taught. It was an amazing time of growth and learning. I continue to follow the the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know of its truth and the eternal happiness that come from living its principles and commandments. I know without a doubt that I am a child of my Heavenly Father, that His son; Jesus Christ provided the way in which we can return to the presence of God and experience eternal progression as a family unit.

How I live my faith

I live my faith though little everyday actions. Prayer and scripture study being the foundation. By studying the life of the Savior I have learned that service to others helps me to see people as Christ sees them. I am able to relate more closely to His teachings and I find a closer understanding when I do as He would. Recently my husband and I were called as Sunday school teachers in our ward; studying, brainstorming, and teaching together has been a great experience for both of us as we serve.
