Hi I'm Taylor Chandler

I'm a missionary, a musician, and a lover of ping pong. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life, and I love it. I enjoy playing and listening to music, learning, and making new friends. I love playing tennis, basketball, and most especially ping pong! I am also a HUGE sports fan. College football and college basketball are my two favorite sports to watch, and I especially love anything BYU related. I love traveling, and hope to visit all 7 continents one day. I'm currently serving a 2 year service mission in North Carolina, and I could not be happier!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this wonderful Church. I know that this Gospel is true, and I can testify that true happiness really comes through this listening and obeying the commandments and modern day revelation. I'm so thankful I've been raised in this Church. I couldn't imagine a life without this Gospel, and the peace that comes with the knowledge that I have. I'm a Mormon because I know that this Gospel is true. I don't know everything, but it's what I know that completely overpowers what I don't know. I have had confirmation given to me that The Book of Mormon is true and I know that it is. We have a Father in Heaven who loves us. There is no other Church on this earth that can provide the peace and happiness that this wonderful Church does.

How I live my faith

I recognize that I'm not perfect, nor will I ever be, but I know that through Jesus Christ's Atonement, I can be forgiven of my sins and return to live with Him someday. Having this knowledge of a life after death really motivates me to be the best that I can be each day. God doesn't expect us to be perfect, He only expects us to do our best. I try my hardest to consistently pray, read the scriptures, (The Bible, The Book of Mormon, and revelation given to our current Prophets and Apostles) and make decisions that will bring my closer to our Heavenly Father.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Taylor Chandler
Families are not only important, but they are central to God's plan for His children, or us. Being places in a family is one way that God shows his love for us. Although we cannot choose what family we are placed in, we have the opportunity to grow strong together as a family and be united eternally. Show more Show less
