Hi I'm Hilary McKinnon

I'm a daughter. I'm a high school student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school student. I enjoy playing sports, being outside, learning new things, spending my time with my family and friends, and rainy weather.

Why I am a Mormon

I am very fortunate to be born into a family that is active in this church. Although all my family members are all Mormon, I have chosen for myself to live the gospel and to be apart of this church. Through experiences, I have been able to learn and gain a knowledge of the truthfulness of this church. This church provides hope, gives an opportunity for us to learn and grow, and gives us opportunities to serve and teach others. I am grateful for the knowledge I have that my family can live together forever, as long as we stay righteous and keep striving to be like Jesus Christ. I am also grateful to know we are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father who loves and knows each of us and is always here for us. He never abandons us. I am a Mormon because I have prayed to know if the things I have been taught are true. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints because this is the gospel of happiness and knowing there is hope and ways to find comfort during trials.

How I live my faith

I am a representative of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints at school, home, and my community. I have served in all three of the Young Women class presidencies. I am on a community council where we serve others and make the lives of others a little bit easier. I live my faith by being an example of of church wherever I may go. I live my faith by striving to make good choices and by serving others. I live my faith by teaching others to come unto Christ.
