Hi I'm Ginger

I'm a mother of six kids who grew up in sunny Singapore and now live my live in chilly Buffalo, New York!

About Me

I am a stay-home mom of six kids, ages 4 to 16. Although, I grew up in tropical Singapore, I am now living out my life in the frigid land of Buffalo and loving the good things about beautiful Upstate New York. There are good, good people in Buffalo and I am proud to be part of the community here. Through homeschooling some of my younger children, I have come to find many like-minded people from all faiths and have felt a real connection with them on issues of concern to families. I love reading and improving myself, but find the Scriptures to be the best self-improvement manuals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon initially because my parents are this faith. However, I am a Mormon now, because I love being one! I love the hope that radiates from my beliefs and convictions, I love the peace that comes as I contemplate eternity with my good husband and children, and I love the joy Christ's teachings infuse into my daily living. When I am down, a good, solid, sincere prayer with thoughtful scripture study, undoubtedly casts a renewed glow over everything. To know our Heavenly Father is ALWAYS in charge and aware of us and every other person, is an overwhelming thought of comfort to me. I have experienced the miracles of sincere prayer and fasting and can't deny there is significance to our individual lives and a unique mission for each of us. God can reveal everything we need to know about ourselves to fulfill our mission here on earth. I love knowing I have a purpose...that my life has meaning! I matter...you matter and we have a Work to do! Time is precious and our life is made up of time...don't waste it! Christ's teachings show us how to make the minutes matter and His Spirit guides us to use our lives and time well. We can ALWAYS trust His directions....what a glorious assurance! I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Families matter to people in all faiths and I am always so grateful to be able to share the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with my friends and acquaintances to help and strengthen them in their family life. All truths that are lived, improve our family life. And nothing is sweeter than harmonious family relationships! How wonderful to know that everyone is my brother and sister. This knowledge really does make a difference in how I live, what I pray for and how I treat others. I love knowing that my weaknesses are there to bring me to Christ. He gave them to me to draw me to Him...what an invitation: the chance to get to know Him on such an intimate level! And that fact that He, the Son of God, even wants to know me, is still mind-boggling to me!
