Hi I'm Doug Johnson

I grew up on a farm in Southeastern Idaho. I am a McDonald's restaurant owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Father of four children and four grandchildren. My wife and I love to do things with our family especially trips and vacations. We also love to bike (both mountain and road) and enjoy doing long rides with groups of friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a firm conviction that we are here on this Earth for a purpose. We are part of a great and grand plan that God has for each of us. He is the Father of each of our Spirits and though His plan requires us to walk by faith in this life, He has revealed the details of the plan. This plan of happiness is the same for every person that has ever been born on this Earth. The central part of this plan revolves around Jesus Christ and the powerful gift of our moral agency. I believe in Christ and that He can and does reveal truth to all who honestly seek to know Him and remember why we are here.

How I live my faith

I currently serve on the executive board of our local Ronald McDonald house. This is a wonderful Charity that serves the needs of families of hospitalized children from all over the Intermountain area. My life feels much sweeter when I am able to help those that are in need, particularly during times of great discomfort. I also serve as the mission leader of our local ward or congregation. I am striving to help all of our members reach out and invite others to come unto Christ.
