Hi I'm Tiffany

I'm from Switzerland. I like to travel with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One of my passions is to travel and see new places. Growing up in Switzerland that is not to hard to do, because a visit to another country is just a couple of hours away. When I was 15 years old, I went to Canada as an exchange student. A couple of years later, I returned to North America for college. I met my husband at college and after a year of dating we got married. Together we plan to travel the world. We like to collect postcards from each place that we visit.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me as a Mormon in a tiny, little Swiss town. When we went to church on Sundays, there were only a few other children there. I have chosen to remain a Mormon, because I have seen the blessings that it has brought to me and my family. I actively sought to develop a relationship with my Heavenly Father through prayer. I asked lots of questions and studied the Book of Mormon and the Bible to understand the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My faith has given me an understanding of the significance and purpose of this earth life. This knowledge and hope has helped me get through difficult times.

How I live my faith

Growing up my family used to go every Saturday and clean the Church grounds. We would cut the grass and pick up garbage and make sure that the grounds looked nice. In the winter time, we would remove snow from the parking lot. This helped me develop a greater sense of service and realize that we can all be helpers in one way or another. Currently, I strive to help other people in our church family find employment.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Think of it this way: when you view something on social media and you like the article or video, because it is interesting or funny, you click the share button to share it with your friends. Members of the church, who become proselyting missionaries, have seen the blessings of living according to the gospel of Jesus Christ and feel a desire to share it with their friends. The message of Jesus Christ is so important to them that they are willing to not only share it with their family and friends, but with anyone they come in contact with. Show more Show less
