Hi I'm Jason

I'm a family man. I'm a Californian. I'm an athlete. I'm a dreamer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Every morning I wake up, excited for a new day. For each time the sun rises a new opportunity presents itself to learn, love and grow. On this journey of life, we all stumble at what seems to be every step. I know I do. However, I am proud to say that I not only stumble, but each time I do, I get up. I have my Savior, Jesus Christ, to thank for that! I am so grateful for all He has done, and continues to do, for me. I love Him beyond description. I love my family with all my heart and look forward to spending the rest of eternity with them. I love sports and staying active. I love learning. I love sharing. I love people. We are all sons and daughters of God. I'm trying to act accordingly! :)

Why I am a Mormon

The answer to the common question of why I am a Mormon is easy. This gospel provides me with unparalleled happiness and joy. The doctrines of truth, potential and divinely inspired leaders serve as a beacon of valiance for me and guide me in this ever-changing and often daunting world. I am a Mormon because I know beyond any doubt that my Savior suffered and died for me. I know that He did what He did because He has a pure love for me, the extent of which I probably will never be able to fathom in this life. I am a Mormon because I believe in the sanctity of Heavenly Father's plan and know that I will have the opportunity to live through eternity with my family after this life. I am a Mormon because I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is the most powerful way to develop a relationship with our Father in Heaven and to be truly happy. I know my Savior lives and I know He lives for me. I know this, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith to the fullest in everything I do. I am nowhere near perfect, but by that I mean I try to embody the example my Savior set for me. I look out for the one and try to serve others as much as I can. We are all fighting our own battles and God is aware of those battles. Usually, his most effective way to provide us with aid is through one another. I live my faith by ensuring that when He calls on me to lift another, I am ready and able. Christ set an example of compassion, service and perfection. I will never completely live up to that example but I am sure going to try!
