Hi I'm Amanda

Senior in High School. 2nd oldest of 6 children. Basketball player. Future missionary. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am currently a Senior in High School doing a variety of subjects. Math, English, Modern Studies, Administration and Business management. I eventually want to go on to go to college in the United States. I moved to Scotland two years ago from Seattle, Washington. And I have LOVED every minute of it! I am 6'1" and I love to play sports. I have played basketball since I can remember. I love it! I love to be outdoors. From camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, YOU NAME IT! I am currently preparing for a mission that i will go on when I am 19. I cant wait, what a great opportunity! I love to spend my time with family and friends. I am the ULTIMATE social butterfly! I am not sure what I want to go into when I am older. All I know is that I want to be in a job being with the public and helping people. I love to make people smile and feel good about themselves.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and was able to rely on my parents faith growing up. However, as I became older and through study and prayer I have found out for myself that this Church is true and that is why I am currently preparing for a mission, to share the joy that I have in my life with others. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that there is no other church that has the fullness of His gospel or His authority. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He loves me more than I could possibly describe, and for this I am grateful for my opportunity to someday serve Him for 18 months. I love this gospel and all the blessings it has enriched my life with.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in so many ways. One way is through my church participation. Whether this means being a part of church activities, fulfilling church responsibilities, or attending church meetings, my religion is a priority in my life. Even when I am not at church or church activities, my faith completely defines who I am. I live my faith through everything that I do. I try to live my entire life so that those I encounter who do not know Christ will want to know him because they know me.
