Hi I'm Eric Johnson

I am married and have two boys. I am in the U.S. Air Force and work with African air forces. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music--I sing, and I play the viola and piano. I also love to travel, and have been blessed to travel to many countries, especially in Europe and Africa. It is wonderful to meet great people from all over the world. I also enjoy sports, particularly basketball and tennis. But of all things, I enjoy being with my amazing wife and kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had many experiences throughout my life that have confirmed to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) is Christ's church on the earth today. During these experiences, I have felt the Holy Spirit's warm influence, confirming the truthfulness of the church's teachings. This church has so many fantastic elements: insightful, talented people who care for one another, perspectives on the purpose of life and what happens to us after we die, and a focus on the life and mission of Jesus Christ. All of these things give me great fulfillment in being a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ in my life by being kind to people and serving them. I like to share my beliefs with those who are interested, because my faith has given me great joy and peace. I have an assignment in our congregation -- I currently teach the 5-year old kids in what we call "Primary." They are very smart and energetic, and I enjoy being with them.
