Hi I'm Vickie Pincock

I grew up in Utah. I love spending time with my Family! I am a now a grandma and Love every minute of it! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to spend time with my family. Although I love fun and warmth of the summer sun, there is a peace that comes to me and my home on quiet rainy days, listening to soft piano music, cooking stew, baking rolls, and cleaning out a cupboard (i like to call it treasure hunting). When my life feels cluttered with chaos, I like to open the windows for fresh air, turn on some kenny g or spiritual type music and get my home in order. The end result is happiness and balance with a renewed energy and perspective of the most important goal in my life which is to return to my Heavenly Father with my whole family.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. It gives me the guidance to find true happiness and self worth. I have the agency to make choices and it is my experience that as I make good choices, which at times can be challenging, I receive blessing and tender mercies in my life which create a sense of peace, joy and happiness. I feel a love inside my heart that I know the our Heavenly Father loves me and knows me specifically and no matter what trials I face, as I follow the example of Jesus Christ, I am qualified to have the Holy Ghost with me to comfort and guide me. I know that the Atonement is a most precious gift and not only allows us to be forgiven but it allows us to have His constant care to never be alone. Heavenly Father will help us bear our burdens. He has created a way for us to return to live with Him again. I have a testimony of the power of prayer and that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers, I know this to be true and am so grateful for the many blessings given to me.

How I live my faith

I was baptized when I was 8. I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My family was sealed in the Jordan River Temple. I am blessed with a loving husband who holds the priesthood which brings those blessings into our home. I am blessed with children (now grown) that are caring and unselfish and treat others with respect and love. I have taught the young primary age children and enjoy their sweet enthusiasm as they learn about our Savior, Jesus Christ. I had the opportunity to serve with the young women ages 12-18 for several years and am in awe of their courage and strength as they stand for truth and righteousness when faced with so many challenges and adversity in their daily lives. The youth have such strong testimonies of our faith and they are amazing examples. I continue to be inspired by their love and kindness as their inner lights shine. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me unconditionally and knows me specifically!

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Vickie Pincock
My personal experience in coming to know our Heavenly Father is through consistent and heartfelt prayer. Often it is those quiet moments as I pray that I will feel the strong love that my Heavenly Father has for me specifically. It is those moments of peace that I feel guidance, inspiration and personal revelation for my questions, concerns, and decisions. This creates a stronger hope, faith and testimony that my Heavenly Father is near, that he listens and will help me through my challenges and trials and that he truly loves each one of us with an unconditional love.
