Hi I'm Ashley Jones

I'm a Utahn,a returned missionary,student,sister of 5 sisters,forever newlywed. I love being creative and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student at Brigham Young University. I am studying recreation management. Most people say,"Well that sounds like fun" when they hear that. I study the importance of life, recreation, the effect it has on people, how to make experiences out of everyday things, and how to help others through those experiences and I want to be an event planner. I love everything that has to do with creating something; drawing, photography, crafts, movies, books, singing, floral design. I love the outdoors; hiking, water-skiing, boating, yoga, jeeping, walking and running, experiencing the things that God has given us. I am recently married to my best friend and best support. We have the best story in the world. We share nearly all of the same interests and we do everything together. I am also a returned missionary from Uruguay, South America and I speak Spanish. I love he country and the relationships I formed there. I love my family, my mom and dad are my best friends. I am the oldest of five girls of whom I love o very dearly. I would be nothing without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon and I have never questioned my faith thanks to the way my parents taught me. That doesn't mean I don't experience hard things and wonder what is to come. I am an avid worrier and being a member of the church of Jesus Christ gives me something and someone in which to trust besides myself. I am a Mormon because I believe there is no happier more fulfilling way to live. I love and trust in my Heavenly Father and I know he loves me too. There is nothing better than knowing that a supreme being who could do anything in the world created me and this planet and everything on it for my enjoyment. There is nothing better than knowing that everything I experience is for my good because of the trust I have in God. I know He simply wants me to be happy. My job is just to figure out how to use the tools and the blessings He has given me to accomplish and find that happiness through my choices and the things I learn from Him. I love life and His gospel lets me live it with happiness no matter what is going on at the time.

How I live my faith

I want to serve my community in providing events that change the way people view themselves. I want them to be happy and enjoy life even if people don't live the way I do or have the exact same blessings I do. That's why I want to be an event planner.
