Hi I'm Chad

I live on the West Coast of the United States. I am a project manager for a Fortune 100 company. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of six children and the lucky husband of a beautiful lady. I work for a fortune 100 company by managing projects and basically always being on the lookout for ways to enhance and improve. I love to work with wood and enjoy a good book in order to relax. Adventure movies and military history are passions I enjoy. I was raised by a gentleman who treated his wife as a lady and taught me that in every age, in every situation - I need to be a gentleman. Yosemite National Park is a favorite hiking destination and I have been to the top of Half Dome, Clouds Rest, Mt Hoffman, and many other "big rocks" within the park.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am receiving answers to questions about God's plan for me. I have direction and I have the assurance that though storms may rage, there is peace to be found. I recognize and acknowledge blessings of spiritual and physical strength that have helped me to overcome. And a hope that is real and helps me endure the despair, the frustrations and the pains of life. There is an eternal plan and I am part of it. Though I might waiver and at times sink into an abyss of self-pity, I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven who is mindful of ME. And has provided the means whereby I can return to him with my Family and there dwell for all eternity. Through my Savior, Jesus Christ, I can know peace and forgiveness from my moments of weakness, sin and despair. He is the Christ, He is my Redeemer. And he atoned for MY sins. A perfect life, freely given, so that I might receive eternal life and exaltation. THAT makes my life worth living. And having those questions answered, is a big part of why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

For many years I have had the opportunity to work with the youth and the Scouting program. I love the chances they provide to serve. I feel faith should be active and when we are serving others we are closer to our Heavenly Father who is constantly in our service. I believe we must constantly be looking for chances to lighten the loads of others. I feel that as we do so, our own cares and worries seem to lessen. Constant communication with my Heavenly Father is also an important part of my faith. I seek his direction in all aspects of my life and recognize his blessings. As I notice his guidance and direction my heart fills with gratitude and I am able to accomplish so much more with his help than on my own. Problems unravel, solutions become clear, and trials seem to have an identifiable ending when I have God's Spirit with me to strengthen me.
