Hi I'm Ron Kaczmarczyk

I grew up in Port Huron, Michigan. I worked as a custodian for 18 years. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I don't have to many interest i am retired and have been out of work since 1993. I'm a stay home husband. I love to watch deer/ nature and really get an in take of God's creation. I love to garden during the summer. I also love to serve in the church and all my callings. I am a Father of 4 beautiful children, Grandfather of 12 grandchildren, and a Great-Grandfather of 4 great-Grandchildren. I have had muscular dystrophy since birth i was diagnosed with it around 1985. Its been a challenge to me physically which forced me to retire. As i have gotten older and faced these further struggles i am not able to do the things i used to do when i was younger but i thank the Lord every day for His tender mercies of the blessings I do have for having a home, My wife MaryAnn and my children. We all have struggles but what has gotten me through all of mine is my faith in the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion story is this it started when i got married to my wife in her Methodist church. We were attending a class and what we were being taught something we didn't agree with so we started to look around for a different church. We ended up talking to my sister's brother Eddy (a member). He said he would send some pamphlets and of course he sent the missionaries and we were being taught the lessons a few times a week. The thing that stood out to me was the spirit these young men brought into my home and their diligence to spreading the gospel. My wife and children's influence actually persuaded me to be baptized. My conversion didn't take place before the baptism nor immediately after the baptism. The conversion to the gospel and my real knowledge that this work is true came as i progressed and moved forward. A specific event i can recall when conversion took place was when i was able to go through the temple to be sealed with my wife and children for all time and eternity. Its something you really can't describe in words its a witness from the spirit that what is taught is true. This is why i am a Mormon because i know its the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of that witness of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I have had various callings in the church. My calling right now is a Mission Leader. I help the missionaries share the gospel. I love serving in callings they have helped me grow and serve the Lord better and strengthen my faith. How i live my faith is very simple. I say my prayers and serve in the church. I have a knowledge that if i am obedient to the commandments of the Lord despite what happens to me if obedient i will be able to return to live with him again someday. That is why my faith is so important. I have seen countless blessings from having faith in the Lord. I continue to strengthen my faith every day of my life.
