Hi I'm Camille

I'm a college graduate and a stay-at-home mom by choice. I served a LDS mission in Indonesia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mom of two energetic and lovable kids. My husband is working on a graduate degree and also is providing for our family by working as a Teaching Assistant at the University. I choose to be a stay-at-home mom even though I have a degree in secondary education. We live in a very small, old apartment with red carpet and paper ornaments hung from the ceiling. We've learned to be very frugal and completely self-reliant despite our small income. We are continuously blessed financially to provide for our family as we put our faith in the promise of tithing. My relationship with my husband and children are one of my greatest joys. I love to go on walks, cook yummy food, and smile.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that there are questions that every heart yearns to be answered. We want to know how to overcome loneliness and disappointment, how to find joy, how to recognize our purpose for existing, how to make the most important relationships in our lives continue eternally. We desire to know God as someone who is intimately concerned with the affairs in our lives and who desires joy for us. I find all the answers to these and other questions in the doctrine and principles taught through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The church teaches Christ's doctrine and then admonishes every person to search, ponder and pray to receive a personal confirmation of these truths. I have done so and can say with confidence that God has an eternal plan for each of us and that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. This knowledge has filled the lost crevices of my soul with light, intelligence, hope and happiness.

How I live my faith

I try to gain a better understanding of the Savior's love for me through personal prayer and scripture study and by serving those around me in small ways. I believe everyone deserves to be smiled at, and I believe that Christ's love can be felt through the friendliness of others. I serve in my congregation by teaching gospel principles to adult women. I love learning about the topics I teach. I try to become a better person each day by reminding myself of and utilizing the incredible love and gift of Christ's Atonement.
