Hi I'm Cassidy

I am currently a full time LDS missionary serving for 18 months in the Nebraska Omaha mission.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Northern California called Paradise. After attending BYU-Idaho for a semester I received my mission call to serve in the Nebraska Omaha mission. I have overcome many trials in my life and through those have gained a strong testimony that our Heavenly Father knows each one of us. He has a plan for us and loves each one of us.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel gives me so much strength. It gives me so much strength in my day to day trials. The Book of Mormon is a book full of true doctrine. The scriptures are so uplifting! Each day my testimony gets stronger and stronger.

How I live my faith

I was raised in a strong LDS family. My dad, who is now my bishop, is a convert and was baptized in his twenties. My mom was adopted into an LDS family and has a strong testimony of her own. Growing up there was not many Mormons in my school. In high school I chose to be an example of God to those around me and chose to live the gospel. Those around me often spoke about the light of Christ that I had not only around me, but also in my home when they would come over. My senior year I turned down many soccer and academic scholarships to attend a church sponsored school. It was such a blessing and really helped me to learn and grow. During my first semester I chose to put a pause on my education and life to devote 18 months to serving the Lord. This gospel has brought so much light into my life that this small amount of time that I am giving up will never ever compare to what I have been given in my life. I strive to bring this happiness, joy, and knowledge that I have been blessed with to others. It is an amazing gift.
