Hi I'm Cameron

I am a film student. I am a musician. I am a Momma's boy. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I am currently a college student in my sophomore year. I love to film, dance, entertain, and laugh. Spending time with family and friends and making videos is a blast. I am the youngest in the family. I have seen my older siblings grow and create their own family units.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is what helps us be truly happy. God loves us and has blessed us with our families. My family means so much to me and I am so grateful to have an eternal perspective; an eternal perspective to see the bigger picture and to remember the righteous goal to live with them and God forever. God wants His children back to live with Him so He has sent His son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die not only for our sins but for our pains, temptations, and what is unfair in life. We are not alone during our trials in this life. There is hope by living the Gospel. I am thankful that I have time here on Earth to grow, to change, and become like the Savior.

How I live my faith

I attend a young single adult ward here at college. I have assignments where my roommate and I visit two guys that are in my ward and I am in charge of Home Evening for the ward. Home Evening is on every Monday where the students, members of the ward, have been split into groups and we get together at 7 pm and have a spiritual thought and then an activity. It is a great way to meet others and visit and get a break from homework for awhile. One of my favorite activities for Home Evening was when we played games in our apartment lounge. Everyone was laughing and we were able to get to know each other better. Sundays are generally busy with church, ward choir, and sometimes meetings but I love Sundays.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I have had trials and hard times in my life where in the beginning of them I felt like I had no idea how I was going to get through, but in those very moments I would pray and I would feel peace and comfort and more hope that things will work out. God will not leave us alone. I have seen His hand in my life many times. He has blessed me with people that surround me that help me and support me in my endeavors. My family is a blessing and there have been times where I have felt that I know for a specific purpose why my brother is my brother and why my parents are my parents. God is our loving Heavenly Father and we are children of Him. Show more Show less
