Hi I'm Alma Mecham

I am the eldest of 7 children in my family and we homeschool. I love music, art, and dance as well as history and science.

About Me

I love to listen to good and uplifting music as well as create it. I was in band for 6 years and I have played clarinet, oboe, euphonium, trumpet, and french horn. I'm also a homeschooler and I love it! I love to learn about history and science as well as creating art and dancing. I have also trained in a martial art of Indonesian kung-fu called Pukulan Tjmindie. I have been training for eight years and in the summer of 2016 I received my black belt after a 48 hour test. It was difficult but awesome! I am currently preparing to serve a mission and I am excited to share the gospel and serve the Lord. I love the Book of Mormon. It brings peace and joy into my life everyday I read it. I love the gospel for the same reasons. Not every day is easy, but because I have the truth, it doesn't matter. There is always a better future for the faithful.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member, but I stay a member and love being a member because of the wonderful blessings I have received. One of these blessings is a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. If I thought the gospel was a lie, I would leave. God does not deceive. He enlightens. Anything that comes from Him is good. The gospel came from Him, so I know this gospel is good.

How I live my faith

I read the Book of Mormon everyday. I pray every morning and night and in between. I attend church every Sunday. I am preparing to serve a mission. I am staying worthy of the Temple.
