Hi I'm Albi Osmeni

I am from Albania. I am a Chef. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to cook! I've been a Chef for 5 years working in multiple hotels, my favorite food to cook is Austrian food and Italian but I can cook it all! I've been called to serve as a Missionary in Sydney Australia and that is what i'll be doing for the next 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 12 years old my mother first met the missionaries in the park and the Elders were offering English Classes, as my mother talked with the Elders my sister pinched my mother indicating that these "Missionaries" were not here to teach English they were here to Convert us!!! Later on we started to learn about the Book of Mormon and after 4 months me and my family were baptized, we've been members of the church for 11 years now. Me my mom and my sister's. My father unfortunately was did not get baptized with us, he would take the discussions with the missionaries but nothing came of it, although he was very happy for us and our decision to be baptized and he wanted to as well, he was investigating the church for 11 years. My father died on the 26th of October 2012. For 1 month he was in a coma and later died from a blood hemorrhage in his brain. On the 18th of October 2013 I had the blessing of being able to stand in proxy for my father to be baptized in the Spain Madrid temple. It was a wonderful experience that I will always hold close to my heart. As I was baptized for my father I could hear the words being said "Thank you son, for doing this for me." I felt the spirit very strong in that moment and I will never forget it. I am a Mormon because I have a strong testimony of this church and I've seen the many blessings that come of this gospel to my family, we are a family of 4 with 3 children on missions in 3 different Continents.

How I live my faith

At this moment in time I am serving the lord as a missionary, I love to study in the mornings and I am trying to learn the English Language better and better everyday. I want to help people understand the gospel. I've learned a lot so far and my faith is increasing.
