Hi I'm David Matheson

I am a Mormon. I'm from Anchorage Alaska. I attend BYU Provo. I am currently serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission.

About Me

I am currently serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at BYU-Provo. I am the oldest son of five children. I love basketball and all other sports, spending time with friends and doing anything outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love everything this church stands for. I love the peace and comfort that it gives me as I go about my daily activities. It is such a blessing to know why I am here on this Earth, and where I am going after this life. I know the Book of Mormon is true, and love to read even just a little bit every day. Every time I read it I learn a little something else from it. I am so excited to be serving a mission for my church so that I can share the great gifts that I get with other people around the world.

How I live my faith

I tend to live my faith through small and simple means. For callings I am a Ward Clerk, and keep track of the callings of the fellow member's of my ward. I also home teach some of my fellow classmates, where I visit them at least once a month and just get to know them a little bit, as well as share a brief spiritual message. I just love participating at church and spending time with my ward members.
