Hi I'm Rebekah

I grew up in Virginia. Moved to Canada nine years later. My choir sang in the Carnigie Hall in New York. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, sing, cook, play the piano for fun, and play card games with my family. I am of a family of 7 brothers and 3 sisters. I graduated in June 2015. I have sang in a choir for four years. Singing for me has been a fun, hard, and worth while experience for me. I am right now serving a mission for the Lord in the Canada Halifax mission and loving every moment of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of his church even when my family were members. But why I chose to be this was I found a happiness and a hope that I could hold on to throughout my hardest times and the best times in my life. The atonement is the center of my life it is what has helped me to be able to be nearer to my Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ's perfect life on this earth, his suffering for me, for all of us. He knows our pains and our struggles through this life. For him having to go through more pain of dying on the cross for us is an overflowing love that I could never comprehend. He died so to allow us the way back to our loving Heavenly Father to be free from our sins, by truly desiring to change. Jesus Christ was resurrected so that we could also be with our families forever in an endless happiness. I testify Jesus Christ could have avoided all the pain, but he knew that there was no other way. He loves us. Our Father in heaven loves us. So much that he gave up his son for us to have a way to return. I know that we can have peace and happiness once more every time we turn to him and lay all of our sins and weaknesses at his feet. I know in my life he has carried me. The Book Of Mormon is what answers all the questions that I desire to know about what my purpose is. It teaches me my purpose in what I strive to become. It is true.

How I live my faith

I love to be able serve in callings where I am able to serve others, growing my abilities as I help them, and serving the Lord to my best ability.
