Hi I'm Lynn

I grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah and married my high school sweetheart.

About Me

I married a wonderful girl from my home town. We have lived in several places as a result of my job demands. I love the mountains of Utah and Idaho and BYU sports. I also like to hikie and fish when when I can. But mostly I enjoy spending time with my family. Time with them seems to add days to my life. They, along with my wife, are the greatest blessings of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is where I find the most peace, comfort and satisfaction in life. As I deal with the issues of work and family the gospel plan helps me to find balance of my life. I find peace in the answers to the many questions I have asked. Some of the answers did not come quickly but they did come. I believe one can find thier own peace and answers if they sincerely seek; sometime it may require putting aside prejudice. I know that great blessing do not come without effort but our Heavenly Father wants his children to be happy and will provide the answers. I know that Jesus Christ stands at the head of this church and through his sacrifice I can be forgiven of my sins. I know that as a result of His plan I can live together with my family both in this life and in world to come. To me, the idea that I can be with my family through the eternities is the greatest blessing for which I could hope.

How I live my faith

As I get older I feel a sense of urgency to ensure that my family and freinds know how important my faith is to me. It is the foundation of my value system and overarches everything I do in life. I enjoy providing service in my church and feel greatly rewarded for my efforts. I am currently serving as a bishop in a young single adults congregation at BYU. There are 180 young people who attend services each week and getting to witnessing their love for Jesus Christ and their efforts to pattern thier life after him is a great honor. As my wife and I reflect back on 38 years of marriage we realize that many of the greatest blessings we have enjoyed in this life have been the results of our efforts to getting to know our Savior better.
