Hi I'm Chris

I am an Eagle Scout. I love Frisbee, chickens, and Lego building. I love to sing. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the son of two wonderful parents, and the brother of many strange sisters. I not too good at sports, but I am very good at Ultimate Frisbee. I love to Lego build and take care of my chickens. I am in high school right now, and I'm doing pretty good so far, despite the stress that comes with it. I love to sing songs, whether it be in choir class or just hymns at church. I can sing a low C, and for those that don't know what that means, let's just say that it's really, really low.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family where everyone was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I chose to be one too, at a young age. However, at the time I did not realize how true this church was. I had no idea of the blessings that I would get by living according to the church standards and doing what members are commanded to do. As I have grown older, I am fully recognizing the true power that comes from the Gospel. I am a very happy person because I have felt the Spirit testify to me that this church is true. I am happy because I know that if I continue to live according to God's commandments, then I will be able to reach the highest level of Heaven when I die, and when that knowledge is taken to heart, the fear of death completely leaves. I am happy because I know that I will be able to see my family again when I die, because they will be in Heaven, too, for all eternity. I am happy because that I know that this church is true. I know that I must make the most of my life so that I will be in a good position when I am judged for all of my actions. I know that God and His Son, Jesus Christ, live. I know that God will forgive us for our sins if we repent. I know that He answers prayers because mine have been answered. I know that God loves all of us, even if we don't love ourselves. I know that He wants us to make it back with Him into Heaven. I know this church is true with all of my heart, and I can't wait to go on a mission to tell people about this church and that they can partake of this happiness too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. When I go to school, I try to be the best example to my peers as I possibly can, by making right choices and encouraging others to live a straight life. I set the example to the people I live around by going to church every Sunday and helping them with tasks that they might need. I do my best to follow the standards given by the church and hope that others not familiar with them will recognize them. My dad and I visit a family that we live by to teach them about the doctrines of our church, and we just make sure that they are doing alright. I do the things that members are commanded to do, and by doing them has made me very happy.
