Hi I'm Susanne

I am new to the Mormon faith. I was baptized on Aug 25, 2013 and confirmed on Sept 1, 2013. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am new to the Mormon faith and was baptized on August 25, 2013, followed by my confirmation on September 1, 2013. My parents raised me in the Catholic faith, which I followed until my fiance shared his steps to convert to the Mormon faith. I attended a few services in one ward until I moved. There I did not know anybody and was afraid to attend the services at a new ward by myself. It was Sister Jones who knocked on my door and from then on, I studied, prayed, and prepared to be baptized and confirmed. It was Sister Jones who welcomed to the Rochester, Michigan ward. There I found everybody to be warm and kind. I made many new friends and although I moved back to Clinton Township and went back to my first ward, I still keep in touch with my new friends. I am divorced Mother of three adult children. One son and two daughters. My oldest daughter is also a new member to the Mormon faith being baptized and confirmed Feb 1, 2014. Her husband was raised a Mormon and my daughter was excited to follow his faith. I am a loyal fan of Barry Manilow and his music. This started when I was ten and my dream came true to meet him in March, 2007. I will be a forever fan. My fiance is Zeke and we plan to get married in June, 2014. We met as neighbors living in the same apartment complex. We each have a dog who seem to have to go out at the same time. It was during these outings that we started having conversations and the rest is history. I currently hold my bachelor degree in business.

Why I am a Mormon

During my education of my new faith, I found the book of Mormon to be true. I found listening to the testimonies of others to be of importance in my life. Praying has meant more and I find myself praying all the time now. Although I am still learning and many things are still trying to make sense, I am much more comfortable with myself now and find my fellow mormons a breath of fresh air.

How I live my faith

By attending service, reading The book of Mormon, Scriptures, and allowing the Elders and/or Sisters to continue my education in my new faith. Sundays are special and spent at church followed by visiting family.
