Hi I'm Emma Rae

I grew up in Utah and just graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I live in Texas with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband in my second year of college, and we got married in the temple. I graduated from college focusing on Home and Family living, sewing, and family studies. I love to sew, quilt, paint, draw, cook, go camping, and most of all spend time with my family. We moved to Texas for my husband's job, and we have a 5 month old baby. He is so much fun and I love being able to see him grow and develop!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members, so my 4 brothers and 1 sister all grew up with the gospel in our lives. I have always felt inspired to attend church, follow through with my church callings, and show others by my actions that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love the gospel and all of the commandments we have to help us to choose the right. I know that Joseph Smith was visited by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and restored the Church. The Book of Mormon is a testament of Jesus Christ and I believe that it is true, and on this earth to help us to follow it's teachings. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that we have a true prophet today that leads us under the detection of the Lord. I am so blessed to have this knowledge of the gospel and it helps me be a better person each day I live it. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is a blessing and can be used at any time to aide us in our sorrow, or to help us repent. I am so blessed to have my family sealed in the temple, and know that we will be together forever. As I hold my sweet baby in my arms, it's very reassuring to know that we will have him with us for Eternity. I believe that I can make a difference in the world because I have the gospel in my life, and I hope that I can help others to be open to this gospel as well.

How I live my faith

We just moved to a new house, and our new ward is great! They have been so kind and many people each Sunday introduce themselves to us. I feel like they are our family because we feel comfortable being there. It's nice that you can go to different LDS churches and you will still be taught the same doctrine! We really enjoy going to church, and doing our visiting and home teaching.
