Hi I'm Kirsti

I grew up in Kansas. I'm a student at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently, I'm a full time student and that takes up most of my time. I haven't completely decided my major yet, but I'm looking into the field of Statistics. To keep me sane, I love dancing ( tap, country swing, etc) and playing guitar. My family is of the utmost importance to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. It's as simply as that. As I grow older and learn more, the gospel just keeps making more and more sense. Both my parents are Mormon, so I was raised in the Church. However, even though I'm now away from home I still want to be Mormon because I see the blessings the Church has brought my family and me. I know that Christ lives and is my redeemer. Because of Him, all my mistakes and shortcomings can be made right. I know that God still talks to us today through modern prophets and revelation. The closer I come to Christ, the more hope I have.

How I live my faith

I'm a sunday school teacher, which means that each week, I prepare and teach an hour lesson on gospel topics. This year, we're teaching from the old testament. I'm also going to serve a mission for the church in Chile. I'll be in Chile for a year and half, teaching others about Christ and the joy he brings.
