Hi I'm Mandi

I'm a stay at home mom. I'm a former school teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four beautiful children and an awesome husband. I love to spend time with my family. We play games, go on walks, and go on family trips. I enjoy visiting new places, learning about cultures and people, and spending time outdoors. I enjoy playing games and gardening. I have a degree in secondary education and was a teacher for several years before having the opportunity to be a stay at home mom. I love being home with my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have several generations of ancestors who were members of the church. Their testimonies and accounts of their lives are an inspiration to me. I was blessed to have goodly parents who taught me the gospel. I came to know for myself that the Church is true by reading the Book of Mormon and applying Moroni's promise found in Moroni 10:3-5. I prayed about it and the spirit confirmed to me that what I had read was true. I know that we are led by a prophet today. I have been blessed by following the counsel given by our prophet. I strive to obey God's commandments and know that this brings me peace and happiness. There is great peace and protection that comes from living the gospel. I know God has a plan for us. This gives me purpose and direction in my life and helps me be a better wife and mother. I know that our families can be eternal and I'm striving to make my family an eternal family by making right choices, setting a good example, and teaching my children correct principles. I love how the Gospel of Christ teaches us to strive for perfection so we can become the sons and daughters God intends for us to be.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach my children the gospel every day through our conversations and by example. I encourage them to have daily personal prayer and scripture study. I teach the 14 and 15 year old girls in our Church's Young Women's program. I also attend their weekly youth activities. I watch over and care for them by making personal visits, phone calls, or sending e-mails or texts with little messages to let them know I am thinking of them and that I love them. I know God loves each of us and I try to help share his love with those around me. I also volunteer at my children's school. Serving others makes me happy.
