Hi I'm Ashlyn

I am from Utah. I love to do many adventurous things. I am a Missionary. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a missionary serving in the California Rancho Cucamonga Mission waiting for my visa. After I receive my visa I will be serving in the Brazil Fortaleza East Mission. I love the outdoors and being around people. I come from a family of seven and have three in laws. I love my family, they are my best friends and biggest supporters! I love being a missionary and sharing what has blessed my life and made me who I am today!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. My mom is a convert in the church and my dad wasn't active until he was older. They have taught me from a very young age about Jesus Christ and the importance of the Church. I never questioned my parents on going to church because that's where my friends were. When I became older I realized why I am a Mormon, it's because it's the thing that makes me the happiest. The fact that I am never alone and that I can talk to Christ and be forgiven for all the sins that I make brings peace to me. There is this feeling inside of me that knows that all that I have been taught about this Church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that all of the teachings in it are there for us to read and to learn from it. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and know me personally. I know that one day I will return to them and be able to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

For 18 months I am devoting my life to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone I can. I also love attending the Temple. There is this peace in the Temple that you can't find anywhere else. I have been able to receive many answers to my questions when I am in the Temple. I try to live my faith daily by doing what I know my Heavenly Father would want me to do and to always try to be a better person each day I live.
