Hi I'm Makenzie

I'm a high school student, I'm a cheerleader. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the gospel of Jesus Christ. About five years ago, my family and I moved to Georgia for my dads' job. I attend early morning seminary each morning before I head off to school. I have participated in both varsity football and basketball cheer leading, I have a part time job at a local pet store.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel gives me hope. I know that there is a God, because without a God man is nothing. This gospel has strengthened me as I have gone throughout high school and have struggled in various relationships. I know that our God would never abandon us here on this Earth without giving us some sort of instruction on how to make it back home to him, which is how I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church and I know that we have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson,, today, to guide us and to gather us. This gospel means so much to me because it is my foundation and without it I would crumble.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through out my life daily. To me, a simple smile can mean the world to somebody. I am active in seminary, and the young women program. I also always try to look for opportunities to share what I believe or to just simply serve others. I'm a Mormon, I know it, I strive to live it, and I love it.
