Hi I'm Elder Brian Klaassen

I was raised in the gospel. I'm a missionary serving in Hawaii. I love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to hike, bike, run, swim, and be in the great outdoors. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that God has a plan for each one of his children and that he loves us all. As I have studied the life of Jesus Christ it had inspired me to live a life like his. And I strive to be more like him every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have developed a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He came to earth to be an example to us of how to live, and He gave us the greatest gift of all. The Atonement. I know that God loves each and every one of us and He has provided a way for us to return to live with Him. That through Jesus Christ and His Atonement we can be with our families forever. I know this to be true because I took the time to study it out, and then prayed to ask God if it's true. I studied the Book of Mormon, and the holy spirit bore witness to me of the truth. That is why I am a Mormon. I found the truth. I found the happiness that comes from knowing my Savior and all He has done for me.

How I live my faith

One way that I live my faith is through service. The way I see it is, there will always be someone who has something going on in their life that is hard. We never know what they may be going through or what circumstances they may be in. By forgetting ourselves, we can lift others. If we try to find someone in our everyday lives that we can serve and uplift we can make a difference in someone's life that really needs it. Now that I am on my mission, I can help bring the happiness of the gospel to their lives.
