Hi I'm Jane

I'm a competitive swimmer, a musician, a missionary, and a Mormon.

About Me

I a college student studying Communication Disorders, but am currently taking a break from school to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in France. I love competitive swimming, hiking, rock climbing, running and just generally being active. I've completed 1 triathlon with hopes to complete many more. I also love music and played the Violin in Orchestra throughout High School as well as during my time at college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but I have chosen to continue being apart of this church because I love it! When I was 12 years old I read through the entire Book of Mormon for the first time. While doing so I was able to feel the love of God so strongly and it was then that I knew I really truly loved the gospel and wanted to be part of my life forever.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in France. One of the great things about serving a mission is that every single day I'm dedicated to serving the Lord and helping to bring others closer to Christ. As a missionary I try to find people who are interested in learning about Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, and then teach them more about it. I also get to provide service to people in the area I am serving. Before my mission, I was able to serve by playing the Organ every Sunday during our worship service. I loved doing that! I realize that I have been blessed with musical talent and I try hard to improve and share my talent with others. I also got to serve by participating in a program where I got to swim and play in the water with children who had special needs. Being around those kids is actually one the reasons I decided to study Communication Disorders and become a Speech Language Pathologist.
