Hi I'm Kylee

I was born and raised in Utah. I am a missionary in the New York, Rochester Mission, a CNA, and I am a MORMON(:

About Me

I am from an amazing family of four. I have one younger sister who is still attending high school. The Lord has truly blessed me by allowing her to be my sister. My parents and my sister are all devoted members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a sophomore in college and I am looking forward to getting a degree in Nursing. College life is so much different than high school, but I am so glad that getting a higher education has always been a goal in my life. Currently, I am serving a mission in the New York, Rochester mission! It is so amazing to be serving where the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored. Almost everyday I get to serve at sacred, Historic Sites right in the birthplace of the Restoration. My testimony of this gospel has only gotten stronger!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised in a devoted LDS family, that is not why I am a Mormon. I have had personal experiences in my life that have touched my heart and have testified to me that the church is true. I know that those experiences are revelations directly from God. I would and never will deny any of the gifts that God has blessed me to have in my life. I know God knows me personally and he loves me for who I am. I am a Mormon because I know when I make a mistake, I can be forgiven. Through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, I can firmly testify that we may all be saved. This gospel has given me strength through the rough patches, and it has also given me a joy that can not be described. Come unto Christ and be perfected in Him. I promise you, you will be blessed!

How I live my faith

The best way I can live my life each day is by having a positive attitude and by being a Christ-Like example to those around me. I have realized that when I am happy and have a positive outlook on life, then it is easier to stay away from the temptations of the devil. It also gives me the wonderful opportunities to meet new people and share with them the "good news" that brings the joy into my life. Although it is not always easy to be a Christ-Like example, I know that if you start your day off in prayer and ask for the spirit to be with you, you will touch someone that you never expected you would. I am a firm believer of the word of wisdom. I attend church and take the sacrament every Sunday. I also attend Institute classes as much as possible. I strongly believe that every time I set foot in the Institute whether for a class or an activity, my testimony grows tremendously. The welcoming warmth and peace is there for everyone, and I would recommend it for all of you.
