Hi I'm Maddie

This gal is from Utah. I love snowboarding and my spunky family. I'm a 5 foot-nothing blonde, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a poor college student attending Utah State University (GO AGGIES). My dream is to become a nurse, but more importantly a cool wife and a hip mom. I love the mountains: snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, camping, mountain biking. However, I also enjoy a good shopping trip. My favorite times are with my family eating Mexican food or boating in the summer. I live for adventure!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this gospel brings me so much joy. I have found nothing in the whole world that can bring such reassuring peace and contentment. My day always goes smoother when I read the Book of Mormon, it is the word of God. I know that when I attend church my week is better. This church gives me direction to life, and a great opportunity to serve my fellow men. I know that Christ lives and He loves us. His atonement will cleanse any sin, heal any broken heart, and lift heavy loads. Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, and restored the true and living church. President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet for our time, and is the Lord's mouth piece. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true because it brings feeling to my soul. I know I'm a daughter of God who loves me with an infinite love. I bear witness His love can be felt and it is very intimate. God is in the details of our lives, and wants us to return to Him. I'm a Mormon: I know it, I live it, I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in small and simple ways. For my calling, I organize activities on Monday night for my Young Single Adult Ward called "Family Home Evening." I try to attend the temple weekly to bring me added peace and happiness. Every morning I read from the Book of Mormon, and write a few sentences what I learned. Also, gratitude is important to me so I write down three things I'm grateful for. Dressing modestly is also a way I live my faith. Day-to-day, I try to make living the gospel simple, yet significant.
