Hi I'm Mikayla

I grew up in Utah. I love to play soccer. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I live in Utah and have been Mormon all my life. I play Varsity on my High School's soccer team. I love to play sports and be outdoors. Hunting is another one of my passions. I love being around people and getting to know others.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the most important things to me is his plan for us. We are sent here to go through life and to be given trials and to make decisions for ourselves and return to live with him again. I know that he doesn't give me any trials he knows I can't handle. Sometimes they are really hard but when I think about him and that he is going to be there supporting me through it every step of the way, I know that I can overcome anything life throws at me. If I make good choices I can return to live with him, But even though I have made mistakes and poor decisions in my life he sent his son for me so that I can be forgiven of those bad decisions I have made and just learn from those mistakes and still have the opportunity to return to live with him again. Another reason I stay in this church is because of the experiences I have had. With my ward family they make me feel needed and important and are all so willing to help out with anything I may need. At Girls camp every year we have a testimony meeting around the camp fire and during this meeting, I get the greatest feeling I have ever felt in the world, a feeling I haven't felt anywhere else (besides in the temple). It is a feeling of love and just so hard to explain. As the girls share their testimonies it always seems to strengthen mine. It usually is so spiritual that even the girls who don't come to church or haven't been baptized and are inactive in our church are sharing their testimony and crying and feeling the spirit. There have also been many times when I have needed help with something and I prayed to my Heavenly Father and studied my scriptures and whether it was a quick answer, or a while before I got my answer, I have always received the help I need. Sometimes it isn't in an obvious way, and sometimes it is, either way I have always received the help and guidance I need.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week and Young women's activities every week. I take seminary two trimesters of school every year.
