Hi I'm Matt

I love robotics, I am a Computer Engineering Student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since I was a kid, I was always obsessed with computers. Anything that had a gizmo or gadget built into it, I wanted to pull apart and put back together. This led me to develop a love of learning, and to this day I love a new nerdy toy as much as I did when I was a kid. I was enrolled in Boy Scouts, and loved the survival aspects of Scouting quite a bit! I got my Eagle Scout award after many years of hard work. I love working with Computers, and hope to develop robots!

Why I am a Mormon

Something unique about our church, The Atonement, or forgiveness process, is something truly remarkable. It can, and WILL, change your life. It has done so in mine, and has given my life a light that has helped lead me to many amazing opportunities. The Lord loves each and every one of us, and to me, Mormonism just makes sense. It's the perfect balance of the Love of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, with the true facts we know about the Universe. Heavenly Father is a perfect being, and this is his perfect plan. The people in this world can be imperfect, but that is, after all, why we are here! This church has helped me understand the importance of pursuing perfection, and although we can't do it alone, Christ has sacrificed everything to help us. This gospel has changed my life, and I would encourage you to give it a try. You will be surprised at just how much sense it makes, and how happy it will make your life.

How I live my faith

After a lot of soul searching, I decided I needed to serve a mission. This is something I have chosen to do, and I am glad my parents have given me a healthy sense of freedom and choice. By serving a mission, I will help people around me, and serve the Lord. It was hard to decide to pause school for a mission, but once I saw that it was the right choice, I have never felt more confident in a decision.
