Hi I'm Nathalie

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm in the teacher education, I love performing arts and being creative. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with theater - backstage, among audience and on stage. Music is an important inspirational source in my life, including singing and playing piano (and guitar and ukulele). Drawing and painting, dancing and performing are also great passions of mine. Traveling and cultural education was a great priority for my family when growing up. Today I am a big fan of traveling, and I'm always thinking about my next world adventuring plans. I'm currently studying to become a teacher in Danish, Music and Art. I feel that teaching and learning is one of the - if not the most - important resources in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up happily in the church. In a very young age I felt the Gospel in my life, and I've seen and experienced how my parents lived by their faith in God. I saw that it made them happy and it enabled them in living a good life, never lacking anything we would need. I haven't always been active in the church. For a handful of years I lived a very different life then how I grew up. But at one point an event happened that affected me deeply for a very long time. It made me search for peace and comfort. In my time away from the church I always knew that my Heavenly Father was there - even waiting for me, even if I was as far away as I could ever be. I don't think I can ever fully describe the peace and happiness I felt when opening the door, and let the Gospel back into my life. Coming back to the church changed my heart, and it has changed me in almost every positive way I can think of. I will probably never fully understand the love that Christ has for each and every one of us in this lifetime, but I know that it is real. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and for his unconditional love and patience for me and my imperfections. There is nothing greater than his love, and it is for everyone.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as music leader for children on Sundays. I am also serving in the Public Affairs in my ward, which includes receiving interviewers, reporters, etc. Previously I've worked a lot with the young single adults and the youth (teenagers).

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Modesty, language and chastity sets the standard for how I behave and how I choose to represent myself. It gives me thought to how I can respect the Lord and the body He has given me. My parents taught me to always to send the best signals as to what would make me an approachable person. Show more Show less
