Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a Casper, WY native. I love animals and taking care of them. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a songwriter, a book reader, an animal lover, and an outdoors lover. I also love to cook and bake. I love to try out new recipes. I love to be my own person and put my everything into what I love. I love to help out people in need, and being myself around everyone that I meet. I am currently serving a mission in the Tennessee Knoxville mission.

Why I am a Mormon

A lot of people have asked me why I'm Mormon or why I chose to be so. There is a lot that you can't exactly explain to someone when they ask you. I've had a few people who have asked me about the restoration, and how is it possible to accept really awful things that we have done in our past. Well that's what's so amazing about the church. From the time that we go to nursery, we are taught of the saviors love and of his sacrifice. Heavenly Father created a plan for us; a test, and in this plan, someone was needed to die for us, so that we could live with Heavenly Father again. With everything that Jesus sacrificed for us, he opened the gates for us to get a little bit closer to that goal. With the power of the atonement and the process of repentance, we are able to be forgiven for our sins, no matter how small they are. I know that I have done some things in my life that I'm not proud of, but through repentance, I was forgiven, and those sins were wiped from my memory. The Lord is truly amazing. He is willing to help us in any way, shape, or form. We just have to ask for it, listen, and do what he tells us. He knows that what is in store for us, and is more than happy to help us get through it. This church is truly an amazing church, and I love it so very much!

How I live my faith

I have done a few thing around Casper, WY. Things like; fill sandbags to protect historical buildings from floods, take lunch and dinner to elderly people that are confined to their houses, pick up trash on the side of roads, paint blocks for orphan children, and make humanitarian packages. With every service that I have done, I feel a sense of peace and comfort. I also bring smiles to the faces of the people that I have helped. I love knowing that the little good I do in the world, really does make a difference. I love to go to church and listen to everyone's talks, testimonies, and life experiences. It helps to remind me about mine. Talking with less actives and just seeing the smile on their faces is such a joy. I love bringing people happiness with my faith and testimony.
