Hi I'm Bryan

I grew up in Smithfield Utah, I love archery and all things outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attend Utah State University and i'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I've always liked the idea of creating new things, whether it be a complex machine or just a new toy to play with. I love to be outside and simply soak up nature and enjoy all the things that God has created for us. I particularly love archery, both shooting and making my own equipment, it's just so satisfying to make something that has a practical and enjoyable purpose. I'm married to my beautiful wife Tiffany, and i'm so grateful that she agreed to marry me. My family really means everything to me, more than school, work, money, or even archery. I'm so glad that I can live with them Forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I have felt his love so often in my life that I can't deny it. I felt his love alot when I was growing up, but I wanted to know if this was all really true, or if it was just a cool story. Was Joseph Smith a real prophet of God, Is the book of Mormon really true? I wanted to know for myself, so I asked through prayer to my Heavenly Father if it was all true. The answer that I got wasn't a huge vision or anything like that, rather it came as a calm feeling, that in effect said, Bryan you know this is true. I told you when you were reading the Book of Mormon, I told you when Nephi testified to his brothers, and when Abinadi gave his life testifying of the Savior, and when Moroni gave his final words to a world in need. The answer that I got was that it is true, I cannot deny that, and I know that the answer came from my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in my church as a family history leader, and as the title suggests I help people with their family History. Not alot of people really know what that it, some think it is just names and that it doesn't really matter, but it is so much more than that. We get to find out where we came from and as we learn more about those who came before us, we also learn more about ourselves, and why things turned out the way that they did. I also get to go visit with a few families each month. We call it hometeaching, but it is kind of like being a godfather to a child when they are born, although there are some differences. I have really come to love the people that I home teach. I am there to help them when they need it, or just to be their friend. The great thing is that everyone gets a hometeacher, which means that everyone has someone that they can trust to turn to if they need it.
