Hi I'm Jenna

Born and raised in Utah. I am a nurse. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I recently just graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. I love helping people and can't wait to begin my career as a nurse. Serving people and knowing that people are happy brings me great joy. I love basketball, volleyball, and running. I enjoy being active and being outdoors. I am an accomplished pianist and have taught myself how to play the guitar and ukulele. I don't know where I would be today if I didn't have the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the gospel. My parents always taught me the importance of going to church but that going was my decision. Growing up I went because I knew I was supposed to go, not merely because I wanted to. When I moved to college, it was time for me to really decide if I went to church because I was supposed to or if it was because I wanted to. I realized that many years before, I go to church each week because I want to. I want to be uplifted, feel the peace and comfort of the Holy Ghost, and have reassurance that everything works out by exercising faith. I have read The Book of Mormon. I know that it is true. Not only does it provide guidance and comfort, but it brings the Spirit to you while you read it. The Holy Ghost will testify to you that it is true if you spend time reading and pondering it. When I read it, I find that I am much happier and that life is more enjoyable no matter the circumstances. Prayer has been a principle that has had a significant role in my life. Many of my prayers have been answered. Our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. I know that I am a daughter of God and that I can turn to my Heavenly Father at anytime to seek guidance or to let Him know what is going on in my life. He wants to hear from us. We can receive tender mercies and blessings by which the Holy Ghost testifies to us that the church is true and that our Savior Jesus Christ live. If we take the time, we can notice the hand of our Heavenly Father in our lives every single day.

How I live my faith

I try and live my religion by looking for those who may need my help. I strive to live worthy of being the Lord's hands and then do His work helping, loving, and befriending others. I also try to be an example to those around me and make a difference through my actions. Serving others brings true happiness. Everyone needs to know that someone loves them and I try to be someone the Lord can count on to share His love. Christ loves each one of His children unconditionally no matter what. I live my faith by being an active member of the church, by attending the temple, sharing my musical talents, and by sharing my testimony through lessons and social media.
