Hi I'm Abigail

I am a student at BYU-I and soon-to-be fully time Missionary! I love laughing, music, exercising, and music. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attend college at Brigham Young University-Idaho, and I love it. I have completed two years and am close to getting my associates degree. I am currently a Public Health major. But my career goal is to be a Dental Hygienist. I love teeth, people, and science, so why not? I love exercising. Whither it is going for an early morning run, mountain biking in Oregon's beautiful mountains, or just going to the gym to lift weights, I love it. It boosts my confidence, makes me feel great, and helps me focus better. Music. Growing up my parents required me to take piano lessons. I struggled with practice--I just wasn't that great at playing! But in high school I joined the A capella choir. It was hard work to train my voice. In that choir I learned the power of music. When all of the harmonies line up you can feel the music in your soul. August 5th I will become a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. And I am so excited!!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe this church is true. Time and time again I feel the peace, comfort, and hope that it can bring to one's life.

How I live my faith

I live it by striving to live the commandments and follow God's counsel for me. When I decided to serve a mission it was difficult. People would tell me, "You are not required to go, you are a girl," "You are so close to finishing your degree and getting into the school you want," "You are young, you really have a chance at getting married." But I feel my decision to go was inspired of God. I was talking/teaching about the gospel to a friend of mine. It was wonderful. As we spoke of it I felt like everything stopped. And a very strong feeling filled my soul tell me that God wanted me to serve a mission.
