Hi I'm Erick

I am a Mormon. Hi, everyone!

About Me

I have been a member of the Church my whole life. I was born in Lima, Peru. At the age of 11 I moved to Mexico City because of my father's job. We lived there for about 7 years, after my high school graduation at the "Tec de Monterrey" we moved to Evansville, IN (Again because of my father's job) I went to college, Brigham Young Idaho, for a year and am now finishing my final preparations to go on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe in the teachings of the Church. I believe this is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ our Savior. I also love the tender feelings the people share every sunday and can feel the spirit emanating from the members. I know we are all working towards our salvation and provided service to each other. Sometimes life becomes a trial, it may carry unexpected burdens, but if we strive to live by the gospel of Christ we can always overcome those difficulties. I am a mormon because I know the gospel has helped me and my family keep moving forward and help us be closer as a family.

How I live my faith

One of the most important callings of my life would be being called to serve as a missionary. I had a few callings back at my ward in Idaho, but the type of responsibility and the preparations required were different. However, every calling was fulfilling and I feel like it helped me grow and get ready for this great step in my life. I will soon, actually tomorrow 09/02/2014 leave towards my mission at Salt Lake. I know many wonderful experiences await me and hope I can live up to my family and the Lord's expectations. I want to bring a smile to the people around me by sharing the gospel and would be happy to convert as many souls as I am able to.
