Hi I'm Charles

I grew up in the United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired banker. My wife and I have 8 children, 29 grand children and 20 great grand children. Together my wife and I built our home and I prefer to complete any needed home repairs. I enjoy reading mystery/suspense novels, cruises, and traveling to Historic Sites (Including Church Historic Sites), National Parks and Monuments.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I was baptized at eight years of age. I love my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Central to the Gospel Of Jesus Christ is the family, who are very important to me. We have the Book of Mormon as scripture which is another Testament Of Jesus Christ. We have a Prophet on the earth today who receives revelation to guide everyone on earth. We are called to serve in various positions in the Church throughout our lives which helps me focus on others, their needs and how I might assist them, and not be constantly looking to my own desires. When we are in the service of our fellow men we are in the service of our God.

How I live my faith

I currently teach an adult Sunday School class. I also work in our local Temple one day a week. My wife and I have been called to serve as missionaries in the Philippines. I also served as a Bishop for a little over 5 years and have served as a counselor with two different Branch Presidents. I have worked with the youth and in other organizations of the church. My participation brings great joy to my life and a more meaningful love for everyone.
