Hi I'm Lynn

I am a retired farmer. I have a love of animals, and train my own horses. I am a grandfather, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was in a partnership on a small farm with my brother and dad for 35 years. We had a dairy, beef cows, and sheep. I liked to raise and train my own horses as a relief from the pressures of farming, and I still enjoy horses. My wife and I enjoyed spending time with our 2 children, and attending their school activities. I participated in sports until I was 45 yo, and then did some basketball refereeing. We now enjoy travelling, visiting our grandchildren, and attending BYU football games. To stay active I have taken up golfing, as well as exercising daily, and walking our dog.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted from the Methodist Church when I was 24 years old. I wanted to belong to a church that was like it was when Christ was on the earth. I had many LDS friends that were good examples and lived the gospel. Christ has always played an important part in my life. My testimony has continually grown since I was baptized. I truly believe Joseph Smith restored Christ's church upon the earth and that we have a true prophet today. Our church is divinely guided.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being friendly to everyone, and accepting who they are. I have had leadership positions at church, worked with the youth, and church sports programs. I enjoy home teaching, which involves visiting families at least every month, and serving and helping whenever needed. My goal is to be a Christ-like person, which is always a challenge.
