Hi I'm Wesley

Born and raised in OC, California. I will be serving the people of Rosario, Argentina on June 4th, 2014. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love drawing, painting, and just making things in general. Art is a big part of my life. Listening to music and the Mormon Channel get me through the day and inspire me when I work on my art pieces or when I'm at work or in life in general. I love adventuring to new and different places to just explore the world around me. Being active is always important, whether that's reading, doing art, hiking, playing with my German shepherd, going on a bike ride, or just being weird with my friends. I love the life I live.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? My mother was a convert at 24 and its been such a blessing in her life. She raised me in this church as soon as I was born. I was baptized and confirmed a member at 8 years old. being that young I didn't take it seriously and fell away from the church in high school. I was hanging out with the wrong crowd and not making the smartest decisions. In 2012 I met a girl doing the same things I was and found out that she too was a less active/ non active Mormon like myself. We started hanging out more and I eventually started to notice the influence the gospel had on her family. It was something I hadn't seen for a long time and knew it was something I needed in my life again. She eventually invited me to an activity with her church. I felt something missing in my life and knew there was something more. I wanted to be a better person for myself and for her and I needed to make a change. I started going to her ward and became active in the church slowly but surely. I realized my mistakes in life and I knew that our Lord and savior Jesus Christ could forgive me. Soon after returning I started the repentance process to be forgiven of what I had done. During that time I grew and progressed further in this gospel than I ever had before. I engulfed my life in the doctrine and teachings of our Heavenly Father. Jump forward almost a year and I have decided to serve the Lord for everything He has done for me. I will be serving His children of Rosario, Argentina on June 4th, 2014. I have such a strong testimony about this church. I know this is the true church! I have seen the Lord's hand in my life and have felt his blessings. I know this gospel can change lives because it has changed mine forever. If you are reading this and thinking about joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I promise you it will be the best decision you will ever make. I testify that if you pray earnestly to know the truth, Heavenly Father will give you confirmation.

How I live my faith

Participating in all the activities my YSA (Young Single Adult) ward is what keeps in tune with the spirit. We do service projects to help our community and serve those in need all the time. We get together multiple times a week as a ward family to have fun and just be together. Being active in the church is the best way to live the gospel. Love, serve and inspire one another. Be the example you want to see in your community.
