Hi I'm Bryce Mulder

I grew up in California on the beach. I am currently serving a mission in the Mongolia Ulaanbaatar Mission. I'm also a Mormon

About Me

I was a sophomore up on BYU Idaho's campus. I am business major and I love to be a problem solver. I am the youngest of three and a proud uncle of two beautiful nieces and two handsome nephews. I am an avid rock and mountain climber. I am also a huge fan of watersports and will gladly participate in any activity as long as there is water involved. After all being a coastal Californian, the sea is in my blood. I currently am residing in Mongolia as I am serving a mission for the LDS Church. I teach English as a second language to the Mongolian people and It is a truly terrific experience. I also am acting a teacher and translator for the Khovd Mongolia Department of Immigration and Labor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and always thought all my life that this was the true church because my family believed in it. I didn't realize that it was my personal choice until high school. I began to do research into other religions and churches, to learn what I could. None of them seemed to be a "logical" option and I was beginning to lose hope. Then I tried the simplest tactic in the world when it comes to religion, I prayed. I prayed and felt prompted to research more into my own religion, instead of others. I learned all that the church stands for and what its goals in this world are. I wanted to be a part of this church that strove to do so much good in the world. When I decided that I wanted to continue on in the church I learned that I did have a testimony of Christ as well as the restoration of the gospel in these latter days. Logic wasn't my true test, faith was.

How I live my faith

I am called to be a full time missionary, and do my best to fulfil the calling to the best of my abilities. I was raised in the church and have been placed in several leaderships callings but most notably was in my youth callings. I led our young men in a variety of activities and service throughout our community. In fact the Church Of Jesus Christ has a partnership with the Boy Scouts of America and they also sponsor several troops, and mine was one of them. As a scout we gave so much back to our community which included feeding the homeless, caring for the elderly and also multiple environmental projects. All was possible through the church. I would not be the man today without the church and what it gave me through the scouting program.
