Hi I'm Hannah Laine

I'm an Oregonian, a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an athlete. I swim, hike, and do yoga. I served my mission in la misión Argentina Posadas. I love the Spanish Language and I am studying to be a Spanish teacher. I love learning, laughing, and having fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I believe it is the true church on the face of the earth. I believe with my whole heart that this church is true because it has the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe that by these teachings, the gospel of Jesus Christ, we can be truly happy. I am a member of this church because it makes me so happy and gives me purpose in this difficult life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by embracing the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that He is absolutely perfect and if we follow Him and trust Him completely, then we can find true happiness. I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and by reading my scriptures. I believe that we can draw closer to Christ by living like Him. That's why I try everyday to be more like Him!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Hannah Laine
When someone shares their testimony, they are telling what they know to be true from the witness of the Holy Ghost. The first Sunday of every month during sacrament meetings there are chances to share what you know to be true to the people of your congregation. The foundation of most testimonies are the atonement, the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, the only living prophet who is led by God, and many others. Show more Show less
