Hi I'm Caleb

I am in the U.S. Army National Guard. I am a husband and a father. I love to grow things, even in my office. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a small town in Utah. I do not live an extraordinary life, like many in these profiles. Some of my hobbies include fishing, camping, snowboarding, spending time with family and self reliance.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was raised in the church, I am a Mormon because I have witnessed God's love for me every day. Being a Mormon is not a one time event when one is baptized or confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Being a Mormon is a life long pursuit that brings joy by keeping the commandments and following the Prophets! I rarely had a father figure in my home after the age of seven. I was able to see my father about once a week or sometimes every two weeks. Many times I looked to the world to find happiness rather than seeking help from my father. I love and appreciate my earthly father because he has helped me often times with his advice. My Heavenly Father has, through my ignorance and many mistakes, helped me become desirous to do the right things for the right reasons. If it weren't for the gospel of Jesus Christ, I would not be happily married, I would not feel so confident about the future and I would be lost. But I am found and will be eternally grateful for the redeeming love of the Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do all that the Lord asks of me. At times it is tough to do the right thing where the world makes sin seem so casual and normal. I enjoy serving others by helping people move, lending a kind word and striving to be kind to anyone who would do me wrong. As a leader, my time is often focused away from my family and other duties, but because it is the Lord's work I am always blessed with more than enough time to spend with family and accomplish other tasks that are important to me. One of the most fruitful services that I am able to provide is Home Teaching; it can be a powerful tool in helping members of the church take care of needs and become closer to God.
