Hi I'm Ka'ohu Maumau

My name is Ka'ohu Maumau I was born in Kona, Hawaii then moved to Utah. I plan to play rugby in college. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Some of my interests or hobbies are swimming, surfing, hangout with friends/ family, listening to music and cant forget I love to watch and play sports. I play rugby and football but my passion lies in rugby. After I return home from serving an honorable full time mission i plan to further my rugby career by playing in college. From a young age I have been so interested in becoming a Police Officer so when i go to college I want to receive a degree in Criminal Justice. I enjoy being active but at the same time i also love to just kick back and relax.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church with a wonderful mother and father who raised me to do what is right and to live by the teachings of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Being a member of this church has helped me deal with many of life's trials and has help me become the strong faithful young man I am today, this church has also helped my family, my parents in particular. They have been able to overcome many obstacles and challenges which without their faith they would not be where they are today. The church has given us the foundation of trying to be like Christ, loving others as we love ourselves, and trying to live a righteous life.

How I live my faith

During my years in youth I had various callings such as being President of the young men in my ward. With being President came great responsibility. I was to watch over a group of young men who were of the same age to help them live righteously by making the right choices. It was a great blessing to be among these youth who are strong, and humble and to see their growth as they aged in the young men's program.
