Hi I'm Paula Worden

I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and love my family dearly.

About Me

I found the Church of Jesus Christ to be just like home when I visited a congregation in Greeley, Colorado in 1976. I was looking for truth and had explored many lifestyles and cultures while pursuing my degree in Learning Disabilities of Adults at the University of Northern Colorado. Today I am a Bilingual Montessori Teacher and feel the Lord Jesus Christ has blessed me abundantly with my 5 children and many brothers and sisters. I have grown so much from applying what I learn. So, I am a mom with a career and an empty nest that sees the rest of my life as a time to continue learning and appreciating the gift of repentance, forgiveness, and the joy of loving my Savior and learning from him how to love my neighbor.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ has been part of my life since I was a very young child. I have memories of Him comforting me through so many difficult times even today. He has stood by me and I will stand for Him. It is only through the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that I have had the confirmation that this is what he wants me to do. I am a Mormon because of the joy I feel when I obey Heavenly Father's guidelines for peace and happiness that I have learned in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When those around me need more help than I can offer it is a marvelous experience to see how the Lord answers prayers to bless their lives.

How I live my faith

I like to help others at work , home and community. Currently I visit other church groups to support their programs in strengthening the family. It is wonderful to speak Spanish and be able to connect with all of the people that I visit. I also love to research my family roots, connecting family photographs from years ago with information available in genealogical research to learn more about their lifestyle and time period. This makes me feel like the child of God that I am.
