Hi I'm Flor

My name is Flor. I am 30 years old, I am a leader and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from Business and Economics School and became kind of a great leader in becoming at Accenture in 2007. I studied Economics Sciences, Political Sciences and Sociology at School. I love working. I am passionate about people, mathematics applied to sciences and genealogy. I also love listening piano and to help in all spheres I can contribute (volonteering or not). I have a twin sister and a young brother. I am the first and only one going so far in studies and work.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because It is what define me the most. It helps me become someone better everyday. It helps me understand people and myself. Above all it brings me more happiness than anything else. I am a Mormon because I know that God lives and that the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints is his church restablished on the earth nowadays. And I know that with such a certainty that it is impossible to hide it.

How I live my faith

I try as much as possible to live my faith through my actions. Im far from perfect and so im learning and improving everyday. I am very enthousiastic by all opportinities than enables me to serve people and contribute to their well-being. I love learning, sharing, and helping people in all areas I can contribute. And I teach at the primary School.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Much of what is done in the Church is to bless and help those who are not Mormon. The Mormon Church has donated more than $1 billion in cash and material assistance to 167 different countries in need of humanitarian aid since it started keeping track in 1985. Many of these countries have few to no Mormons, but are also non-Christian. More than 53,000 Mormon missionaries serve through the world today. All of their service is to help those who are not Mormon. Joseph Smith himself taught that we are "to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all." How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

The Book of Mormon prophet Alma compared faith to a seed. If you plant a seed and nourish it, if it is a good seed it will grow and eventually bear fruit (Alma 32:28-43). It is the same with faith. If you are obedient to God’s commandments, study His word, and have a desire to believe in Christ, faith will grow inside of you. Show more Show less
